Heather has spent her entire life waiting for college - the people she went to school with never really interested her…well, everyone except Stephen, anyway. She never had a huge amount of friends, but she’s always had enough to get by. Her focus was always more on her education, anyway, so it never really mattered. The one person she never had a problem spending time with was Stephen, though, and would gladly ditch studying on the weekends if it meant that she could spend time with him. She’s been as happy as she’s ever been during the past few years of their relationship, and even though she knew that there would be bumps in the road, she never expected things to get this bad. When he told her that he didn’t want to go to college, she couldn’t believe it. What did he plan on doing all his life? She wasn’t going to support him while he sat around and did nothing. She wouldn’t do that - no, she couldn’t do that. It was completely out of the question. She loves him with all his heart and wants them to be together, but she has no idea how they’re going to get past this one.
Heather isn’t as big of a loser as most people make her out to be. She’s actually done a lot with herself, including having taken seven years of dance lessons which is a big thing that she prides herself on. She has a more sophisticated sense of humor than most of her peers, which causes them to think that she’s sort of a stick in the mud. She doesn’t mind, though, because the friends she does keep have proven to be much more than she asked for. Her closest friends happen to be Lily and Rachel, but she occasionally finds herself taking to Hannah. Once she gets comfortable with someone, she’s definitely not afraid to say what she feels - which is exactly the case with Stephen. She’s very kind, though, and happens to be a lot more outgoing than people give her credit for.
