Eight couples with their own stories, who all happen to live in the small town of Aurora. Some are dying to get out and others are holding on as tight as they can to everything they've ever known and loved. As their lives change, they're unsure of how to hold on to that one person that makes them feel like nobody else can. Each couple has their own conflict to deal with, along with everything else going on in their lives - some are starting to question whether or not things are going to work. Things only seem to be getting more complicated, because someone has taken to the internet to post nasty things about the people in town. Some of it is true (and some of it not so much) and some things are exposed that the people in town are sure they haven't told another soul. One thing is definitely for sure - Aurora's drama waits for no one.

      Eric has always been a laid back sort of bloke, not really caring about anything besides being outside on the water. He got good grades and went to law school because of his father - being a lawyer was the family business, and he knew that he didn’t have a say in the matter. So, he went and now he’s some fancy lawyer with craploads of money and an awesome girlfriend. Yeah, Kelsie was amazing…which is why he gave up the partnership for her. He really didn’t want it, anyway. He’s honestly getting sick of his life. If it was up to him, he’d just sail away somewhere and get away from lawyers and partnerships and all of this other crap. He just wants to be with Kelsie and be happy. That’s the bottom line. 

      Because of his laid back attitude, people typically think that he doesn’t give a shit about anything. Since he comes off this way, people don’t typically go to him with their problems, even though he’s more than happy to help people out. His personality is very easy to get along with, though, and has a good collection of friends. He’s probably the most close to Derek and Alex, and feels completely terribly about what happened to Derek. He’s offered to give him some money - after all, he figures that he has way more than he needs, and he really wouldn’t mind helping his friend out, but he refuses to take it. He’s also pretty good friends with Alizé, who he hopes to get a tattoo from sometime soon. Overall, he’s a really generous guy with a really good heart but sort of needs to learn how to convey that to people.
