Eight couples with their own stories, who all happen to live in the small town of Aurora. Some are dying to get out and others are holding on as tight as they can to everything they've ever known and loved. As their lives change, they're unsure of how to hold on to that one person that makes them feel like nobody else can. Each couple has their own conflict to deal with, along with everything else going on in their lives - some are starting to question whether or not things are going to work. Things only seem to be getting more complicated, because someone has taken to the internet to post nasty things about the people in town. Some of it is true (and some of it not so much) and some things are exposed that the people in town are sure they haven't told another soul. One thing is definitely for sure - Aurora's drama waits for no one.

Rachel Jean | FC: Jennifer Lawrence | Twenty five years old | Taken

      Rachel had never had a boyfriend before Sam. She just didn’t feel like she needed one, and she was kind of a loner. She found her escape from every day life though comic books - things were just different in the books. They had happy endings and stuff, y’know? She’s never believed in love or anything of the sort - she came from a broken home, and even though her parents loved her unconditionally, that definitely wasn’t the case when it came to the relationship between her parents. Then she met Samuel, and her outlook on stuff like that changed drastically. Nobody had ever made her as happy as he did, and she thought that things between them would stay as great as they were…until it came time to meet the parents. She was open about him meeting her family, but the feeling definitely didn’t seem to be reciprocated. Now she sort of feels like an embarrassment to him, and isn’t sure if she can keep going like this. 

      She is kind of a nerd and really doesn’t get along with just anyone. If you’re the type of person she doesn’t get along with, she won’t necessarily tell you to your face, but she will keep her distance from you. Heather and Lily are two of her closest friends, and she also spends quite a bit of time with Joshua, who she happens to be distant cousins with. They spent a lot of time together as kids, and even though they’ve got a bit of an age difference - she’s definitely very loyal to the people she becomes close to. She’s an outdoorsy person, and even though her love of reading keeps her inside a lot of the time, she definitely tries her best to get out there as much as possible.
