Eight couples with their own stories, who all happen to live in the small town of Aurora. Some are dying to get out and others are holding on as tight as they can to everything they've ever known and loved. As their lives change, they're unsure of how to hold on to that one person that makes them feel like nobody else can. Each couple has their own conflict to deal with, along with everything else going on in their lives - some are starting to question whether or not things are going to work. Things only seem to be getting more complicated, because someone has taken to the internet to post nasty things about the people in town. Some of it is true (and some of it not so much) and some things are exposed that the people in town are sure they haven't told another soul. One thing is definitely for sure - Aurora's drama waits for no one.

Alex Hart | FC: Jensen Ackles | Twenty seven years old | Taken

      Alex comes from a very messed up family. His father walked out on him when he was little and now his mom is very ill. Since he’s unable to deal with his problems, he just acts like a weirdo to conceal his emotions most of the time. He works as a fireman and is in love with his job - helping people is great and feels very fulfilling. He’s totally in love with Lily - he’s never felt this way about a girl before and he does not plan on letting her go. She makes him feel like he never has, and he wants to marry her - he’s just fucking terrified. He has never done anything like that before, and he really doesn’t want to mess that up. He just doesn’t know what he’d do if he did. He does know that she’s getting impatient, though, and knows that he needs to do something soon.

      Alex is a good guy with a really good heart. He’s always ready to go out of his way for someone, even if they barely know each other. He’s made a whole lot of friends this way, but he happens to be the closest with Dylan, Derek, and Eric. They’ve all been friends for quite awhile, and he’s happy that they’re all as close to each other as they are. Him and Alizé are childhood friends, so she’s definitely someone he can go to with his problems. Recently, he has become friends with Hannah who happened to take care of him in the hospital while he was injured on the job. He doesn’t typically go to people with his problems, though, with…anyone. He just doesn’t feel like he needs to bother people, and has figured out that not dealing with your emotions is a whole lot easier. Helping other people with their problems gets his mind off of his own, so it all works out quite well.
